16 Slices of good white or whole wheat bread
8 Slices of cheddar cheese
8 Large eggs
1 quart of whole or 2% Milk
1 TBSP Pepper
1 TBSP Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Butter one side of each piece of bread. Cut off crust. Place buttered bread side down into a 9x13 baking dish. Add 8 slices of cheese to each piece of bread. Place remaining slices of bread, buttered side down on top of cheese.

In a separate bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour mixture into baking dish over bread slices.

Refrigerate overnight.

Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
