1 1/2 lb fresh green beans
1/2 c chopped onions
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 (15 oz) can chopped tomatoes
1/2 c. white whine
1/2 c. chopped basil
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Break the ends off of the green beans and add to the boiling water. Cook for 8-10 minutes
In a large skillet heat the olive oil and butter to medium.
Add the chopped onions and crushed garlic; sauté for a few minutes. Drain the hot beans and cover with cold water to stop the cooking process. Add the can of chopped tomatoes to the onion and garlic. Drain bean and add to the skillet along with the white wine and chopped basil. Continue to cook for another 7-10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
You can also add any dry Italian seasoning for extra flavor or sprinkle with Parmesan Romano cheese.
