1 bag country style hashbrowns (shredded)
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups finely shredded mild cheddar
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp melted butter
2 tsps garlic powder
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 can beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º
In large bowl combine frozen hashbrowns, onion, and cheese then transfer to a large casserole dish.
In small bowl mix together milk, butter, salt, pepper, beef broth, and garlic powder and pour over hashbrown mixture.
Once contents of two bowls are combined, then place casserole dish in microwave and nuke for fifteen to twenty minutes, stirring every three to four minutes until cheese is melted.
Once cheese is melted transfer casserole dish to oven and baked twenty minutes until top is brown and bubbly.

I created this as a variation of the hashbrown casserole at a famous country store restaurant. Whenever I make this, it never fails to be one of the first dishes completely gone.
