2-1/4 c. sifted cake flour
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1-1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine above ingredients and blend well. Pour into greased, paper lined cake pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
