3 cups self rising flour (or 3 cups regular flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder)
3 Tbsp. sugar
12 oz. can of beer

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and put into greased loaf pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350º. Pour 4 Tbsp. melted butter over the top and bake 15 to 30 minutes more. Great with soup!

This is a recipe I got from my sister Margaret. We have this so often, because it goes together so quickly. Now that the kids are older though, it's harder to find any beer in the house to use... ha.
