1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter or ole
2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 cup powdered sugar is optional
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour several times.
Add food coloring from back of spoon.

Chill dough for 1 hr. or overnight.

Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 min.
Use ungreased cookie sheets.
Dip baked cookies immediately in sugar.
When cool dip in sugar again.
