1 cup butter or ole
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups cut up dates (8 oz. pkg.)
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
4 cups Rice Crispies
Angel flake coconut

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy pan, mix butter, sugar and dates.
Cook for 2 minutes after it starts to boil.
Stir all the time.
Beat together eggs, milk and salt.
Add to mixture and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir all the time.
Take off stove.
Add vanilla, chopped nuts and Rice Crispies.
Roll in angel flake coconut when cool..
