4 tbsp. butter and lard mixed
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk, scalded
1 cake compressed yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup lukewarm water
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup lukewarm water
7 cups flour
Filling:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, mix butter and lard, salt, and sugar.
Pour on scaled milk, let cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup water.
Add eggs, 1 cup lukewarm water and flour.
Stir with a spoon until mixture is stiff and you can't stir anymore.
Knead 10 minutes.
Cover and let rise until double in size.
Punch down and let rise again.
With rolling pin roll out into long strip about 10" wide and 3 ft. long.
Sprinkle on filling.
Roll up, jelly roll fashion, and with knife slice off about 1 inch slices.
Place in pans.
Let rise again.

Bake 350º for 20 - 25 minutes.
