6 C. flour
12 eggs
4 sticks margarine, melted and cooled
4 ozs. (1/2 C.) baking powder
2 C. sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, gradually adding sugar, melted margarine and extract. Work in flour and baking powder. Knead until well blended and easy to handle. Dough should not be sticky. Roll out on a board and cut with a glass. Pick up each circle and fill with any sort of filling. For ease, dough can be formed into balls or strips. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Frost when cooled.

Nut Filling
1/4 C. soft butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. milk
2 C. chopped nuts
Use half of recipe for cookies.
