½ stick butter, softened
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sliced ripe olives (2 of the 2.5 oz sliced, chop a bit)
1 cup sliced green olives (with or without pimento, but limit the pimento) about 5.75 oz jar of salad olives - chopped a bit

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, cream cheese and cheddar cheese in large bowl. Beat well with a mixer.

Stir in olives. If you use olives with pimento, you may wish to remove some of the pimentos.

Spoon into a 1 quart casserole dish or into ramekins. Cover tightly and refrigerate. You can freeze at this time for later use, too.

To serve, bring to room temperature, and serve with crackers or French bread slices.

Makes three cups. Great hostess gift!
