1/2 c. oats
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 lbs. golden delicious apples (approx 6 medium)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Peel, core and slice apples and place in a baking dish. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Sprinkle oat mixture all over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

This recipe is from the Elk Mountain Lodge in Crested Butte, Colorado.

I double the ingredients for the topping.
