6 medium potatoes
1/4 pound dried beef
2 T bacon drippings or oil
2 T flour
2 cups milk
1 cup grated cheese
2 T bread crumbs
1 T butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 2 quart casserole. Cook potatoes with skins on, until tender. Shred the dried beef and brown in drippings/oil. Blend in flour and add milk, gradually. Put in grated cheese and stir over low heat until melted. Pell potatoes and slice into the casserole, alternating with layers of the dried beef mixture. Toss bread crumbs in 1 T butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake for 20 minutes
