Cookies:
1 stick room temp butter
½ cup sugar
3 large eggs
zest of one orange
1 tsp orange oil
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt

Icing:
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons (approx) heavy cream
a few drops orange food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, orange zest, orange oil and vanilla.
Sift and add the flour, baking powder and salt to the above mixture.
Roll dough into walnut size balls, make ropes about 6” long. Make an S shape with ends pointing up. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes.

Drizzle icing over cooked and cooled cookies. Sprinkle with nonpareil for color if desired.
