Cake:
1 box yellow or white cake mix
½ cup (1 stick) butter
4 eggs
1 small can mandarin oranges, including juice

Frosting:
1 (12oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
1 small or medium can crushed pineapple (save juice to pour over cooled cake)
1 (3oz) package instant vanilla pudding

Cake:
Combine all ingredients and bake in greased and floured 9x13” pan at 350º for 35-40 minutes. Test cake doneness with wooden pick. Cool cake before frosting.

Frosting:
Combine Cool Whip, pineapple and dry pudding mix. Before frosting the cake pour the reserved pineapple juice over cooled cake.
