½ cup soft butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup white corn syrup
1 lb powdered sugar
1 lb light caramels
2 tablespoons cream or milk

Directions:
Directions:
Add powdered sugar to butter mixture (butter, vanilla & corn syrup). Mix and knead with hands until thoroughly blended and smooth. Shape 2 or 3 (10”) logs and wrap in damp cloth. Let ripen several hours or overnight. Heat caramels and milk (don’t get too hot). Spoon on cold log and roll in pecan halves. Pecans may be put on individually. Wet hands before starting on logs. Only have one log out at time. Spray Pam on foil and wrap. Refrigerate.
