Combine 1 1/2 C. peanut butter and 1 stick of butter in a large bowl until
blended. Mix in 16 ozs. (1 box) powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time.

Shape pieces of dough into 1-inch balls, then place on a foil lined baking sheet. Chill until firm, about 1 hour. Microwave 12 oz. (1 pkg.) white chocolate chips and 1 Tbsp. vegetable shortening at 30-second intervals until chocolate is melted, about 2 minutes. Dip each ball into white chocolate, spooning chocolate over ball to coat, if necessary. Sprinkle with edible glitter, then transfer to a wax paper lined baking sheet. Chill 30 minutes before serving. Makes about 48.
