1 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups hot water
1-1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
13 saltine crackers

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, water and cream of tartar in small bowl and let set. Put bottom crust in pie tin. Break saltines over crust. Add all other ingredients with sugar mixture and pour all over saltines. Top filling with butter pats. Add top crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes, check for doneness. Cook longer if necessary
