1 C. shortening
2 C. flour
1/2 C. confectioner’s sugar

Mix together until resembles corn meal. Pat on cookie sheet to resemble a crust. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes.

While crust bakes, combine:
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 beaten eggs
1 C. nuts
1 C. cherries
1 C. coconut
1/2 C. raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Spread over baked dough mixture. Return to oven and bake an additional 25 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
