1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. anise seed
1 T. brandy or whiskey
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon for dredging

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350ºF. Process the butter, sugar, egg, anise seed and brandy in food processor, Add flour, baking powder and salt and pulse until combined. Drop on cookie sheet in desired size and flatten slightly, sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture and bake for 10 minutes.
