1 c. butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9x13" baking pan. Combine butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla and mix well. Blend in flour and salt. Press evenly in bottom of prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until very light brown. (crust will be soft) Remove from oven and immediately spread chocolate chips over crust. When chips are soft , spread evenly over crust. Sprinkle with nut. While warm, cut into 1 1/2x 2 inch bars.
