1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp melted butter

1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º

Blend together flour and salt
Gradually beat in four and beat until smooth.
Beat 2 eggs separately until fluffy
Beat eggs into flour mixture and add in melted butter
Beat on low speed for 2 minutes

Put oil in an 8x8 pan and heat pan until just smoking

Pour into hot pan and bake at 450º for 20 minutes

Turn oven down to 350º and continue cooking another 20 minutes

Do not open oven during cooking or it will fall
Should puff up and then fall slightly when you remove from oven
Serve smothered with roast beef gravy.

Can also be made in muffin tins, but each tin will need enough oil to heavily coat the bottom, and tins must be heated until almost smoking
