6 cups of fresh cubed rhubarb
3 cups fresh cubed strawberries
3/4 c granulated sugar
Topping :
11/4 c white or whole wheat flour
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rhubarb and strawberries and pour into an deep 10 - 12 inch casserole dish .Mixture should be 2-3 inches deep, spread evenly in the dish. Sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over fruit.
Topping:
Mix flour, brown sugar and butter using a pastry mixer to makes the ingredients crumbly like shortbread dough. Spread evenly over fruit mixture and pat down lightly with a spoon.
Bake uncovered in 375F oven for 40 minutes until topping is nice and golden brown.

A very yummy dessert that has a bit of tartness to it. Best served with vanilla ice cream . Especially delicious served warm.
