1/2 pound butter
1 pound light brown sugar
1/2 Cup sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Cup chopped pecans, optional
confectioner's sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour a 15" x 10" jelly roll pan. Heat butter and brown sugar in a large saucepan until butter is melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to butter mixture and blend well. Stir in pecans.Spread in prepared jellyroll pan. Bake at 325 for 30-40 minutes. Cool 20 minutes. Cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar while still warm.
