3 eggs
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup dairy sour cream
4 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Glaze:
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
6 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together eggs and sugar.
Blend in sour cream.
Stir in flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg and salt.
Allow to rest 15 min.
On well floured surface roll to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut with doughnut cutter.
Allow to rest 15 more min.
Preheat fat to 375º.
Drop pieces into deep fat.
Brown on one side, then turn.
While still hot, dip in glaze and place on wire rack.

Instead of using glaze, doughnuts may be dipped in a mixture on 1/2 cup sugar with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
