1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each soda and cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup dairy sour cream

Walnut Streusel:
2 tbsp. soft butter
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream 1/4 cup butter with sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Resift flour with baking powder, salt, soda, and spices.
Blend into creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
Mix 2 tbsp. butter with brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon for streusel.
Add walnuts.

Spoon about 1/3 of the batter into greased 9 x 5" x 2 3/4 " loaf pan.
Top with half the walnut mixture.
Repeat layers and top with last third of batter.

Bake at 350º for 55 min. or until loaf tests done.
Let stand for 10 minutes then turn out onto wire rack to cool.
Wrap well in aluminum foil and store in cool place.
