4 eggs beaten
3/4 C half and half
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 thick slices French Bread
1/4 C (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 C packed brown sugar
1/4 C honey
1/4 C maple syrup
1/4 C chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the eggs, half and half, 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar and vanilla in a small bowl. Pour half of the mixture into a shallow dish. Arrange the bread in the dish and top with the remaining egg mixture. Chill, covered, for 8 hours or longer.

Melt 1/4 C butter in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Stir in 1/4 brown sugar, honey, maple syrup and pecans. Arrange the bread slices on top. Bake at 350 º F oven for 30 - 35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
