1 small cabbage
1 lb. ground turkey (ground chicken or ground beef)
½ cup chopped onion
¾ cup minute rice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 10-oz. Cans condensed tomato soup or replace half with salsa
2 cups water
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350º . Brown turkey with onion. Stir in rice, salt, pepper. Finely chop cabbage and layer it in the bottom of a 9 by 13 in. pan. Spoon mixture over cabbage evenly. Mix water and soup and pour over mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bake for 90 minutes.

Preparation may take 30 minutes and then 90 more to bake.

I use salsa instead of soup and cut water to 1 cup. It is tastier that way.

Tip: Spray foil with cooking spray, oil side down.
