2 lbs mixed chicken parts (giblets, livers, gizzards, wings, drum sticks, chicken breast in large cubes)
4 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 c diced onions
2 tbsp flour
4 c boiling water
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 lb ground beef
2 tbsp cold water
3/4 c uncooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in saucepan and lightly brown the onions in it. Add the chicken parts and brown them for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with the flour and add the boiling water, 2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour.

Mix the beef, cold water, and remaining salt, pepper and garlic powder together. Shape into balls; add the meat balls and the rice to the chicken. Cook for 20 minutes or until rice is of desired tenderness.
