1 Tablespoon butter
3 cups diced onions
¾ Cup unsalted oyster crackers, ground
¼ Cup flour
2 Cup water
1 Cup clam juice
2 cups chicken broth
3 Cups diced potatoes
2 Cups half and half
2 Cups defrosted frozen corn kernels
1 red, 1 green bell pepper, chopped and sautéed in butter
Salt
Ground white pepper
Garlic powder and onion powder to taste

Directions:

1. Mix liquids and butter.
2. Add potatoes and i=onions. Cook until potatoes and onion are done.
3. Mix crackers, flour and all seasonings.
4. Add a small amount of cracker mixture to a small amount of liquid mixture and combine thoroughly. Continue mixing small amounts together until the dry ingredients are all mixed.
5. Add this mixture to remaining potato and onion mixture.
6. Add peppers and mix well.
7. Add cream and corn and bring to a boil.
8. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minute's.
9. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and/or onion powder to taste.
(Mixing the cracker mixture into the liquid mixture in small batches is important, otherwise you will have huge lumps in your soup)
