SAUCE:
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 quarts hot chicken broth
Dash of salt
1/4 pound. Grated cheddar cheese
Pimento to taste
1/2 cup chopped green onions
4 cups large cubed turkey
1 cup sautéed mushrooms (in butter)
4 cups wide noodles, cooked
2cups buttered bread crumbs
1cup toasted slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Make a cream sauce with butter, flour, broth and salt. Stir in cheese until melted. Add pimento to taste. Add onions and mushrooms.

Place cooked noodles in casserole dish, add turkey, then pour sauce over. Top with bread crumbs and almonds. Cook uncovered at 350º for 1 hour. Serves 12.
