1 C. sifted cake flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
3 cooking apples (sliced)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tbsp. sugar. Add in shortening. add egg and milk. Spread in greased pan 10 x 6
Arrange apples flat on cake mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and remaining 2 tbsp. sugar
Bake 400º
25-30 minutes
