1 Duncan Hines orange or lemon cake mix
1 small box coconut instant pudding
1 cup Crisco oil
4 eggs
1 10 oz. bottle Moutain Dew
TOPPING:
1 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
1/2 stick butter
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 #2 can crushed pineapple with juice
Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake as directed on package, adding pudding mix, oil, eggs and Moutain Dew to mix. Cool. Cook Pineapple with juice, sugar, and cornstarch in saucepan on medium high heat stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and add butter and coconut and continue stirring until butter is all the way melted. Spread hot topping on top of cake.
