Cream 1 C. sugar and 1 Tbsp. butter. Dissolve 1 tsp. baking soda into 1 C. sour milk and mix. Sift 2 C. flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. cloves. Add 1 C. chopped raisins, nuts and citron and beat.

Pour into a prepared pan. Bake in medium slow oven about 45 minutes.

This recipe was typed as written from Bea's recipe file. Though I have yet to make this recipe, I am assuming that a medium slow oven is about 350.
