1 thick dry crust of bread
piece of onion

1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp dry mustard
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp flour
ground nutmeg
lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Place the stuffed turkey in a roasting pan. Rub the skin with a whole nutmeg or sprinkle with ground nutmeg. Rub the skin with a lemon or use realemon juice. Rub the bread crust with the onion and butter the bread crust. Stuff it in the opening of the Turkey to hold the stuffing in.

Cream together all remaining ingredients. Rub this paste all over the turkey.
Bake uncovered but do not open oven unnecessarily as this dries out the bird. The paste makes the turkey self-basting.

For roasting a turkey, bake in 325 degree oven:
20 to 25 min per pound for 6 - 10lb bird

18 to 20 min per pound for 10 - 16lb bird
