1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3-1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, margarine, eggs and vanilla together.
Spoon flour into dry measuring cup. Level off and pour onto waxed paper.
Add baking powder and salt to flour. Stir to blend.
Add blended dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Chill several hours until firm.
Roll out small portions of dough on lightly floured counter to 1/4 " thickness. Cut with desired cookie cutters.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Sprinkle with colored sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8- 10 minutes.
