8 1/2 quart punch bowl
1 yellow cake mix
1 large package instant vanilla pudding mix
1-16 oz. can crushed pineapple
2 cans pie filling
2 16 oz. cartons cool whip
2 cups chopped pecans
1 small jar cherries

Directions:
Bake cake as directed on package in a 13 x 9 pan. Let cool. Crumble 1/2 of cake in bottom of punch bowl. Mix pudding as directed. Put half of pudding over cake in bowl, spreading evenly. Spread half of pineapple over pudding. Spread 1 can pie filling over this. Spread 1 carton Cool Whip over this and sprinkle with 1 cup of pecans. Repeat layers being sure to end with Cool Whip and pecans. Decorate with cherries and pecan halves.
