½ c. butter at room temp
1 c. sugar
2 lg. Eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 t. baking powder
¼ t. salt
2 ½ c. blueberries (12 oz)
2 c. flour
½ c. milk
Topping: Sugar mixed with ¼ t. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease muffin cups.
2. In medium bowl, beat butter with electric mixer until creamy. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat. Beat in vanilla, baking powder and salt.
3. If using fresh blueberries, mash ½ cup and stir in batter. With a rubber spatula, fold ½ the flour, then ½ the milk and repeat. Fold in remaining fresh blueberries or all the frozen.
4. Spoon into muffin cups; sprinkle with topping. Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown and top feels springy to the touch when pressed.
