1 small pkg red hots
1 C boiling water
1 small pkg lemon jello
1 1/2 c. applesauce
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c. celery chopped
1/2 c. nuts chopped
1/2 c. miracle whip

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve red hots in boiling water. Then add jello and applesauce. Put half in bowl and let set. Blend cream cheese and miracle whip. Stir in celery and nuts. Spread on set jello. Top with remaining jello mixture. Cool. Sometimes we just put the cream cheese mixture on top and don't make it layered.

This was one of grandma Keelers favorites and we made it for Thanksgiving or christmas dinners. Mom later made it for diabetics using cinnamon oil and not candies.
