1/2 c butter, softened
1/2 c margarine, softened
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 c Quaker Oats, old fashioned
1 c raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Slowly add to butter and egg mixture. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well.

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet then transfer to wire rack.
