whole Chicken cut up into major pieces
olive oil
1 lg can tomatoes, with juice (or ~2 lg tomatoes, squished)
enough water to cover chicken
1 lg onion, chopped
handful of parsley
okra (2-3 handfuls fresh, or 2 boxes frozen, thaw before soaking )
vinegar
salt
~5 potatoes cut in quarters long wise
ground cinnamon
10 whole cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the chicken pieces in olive oil with the chopped onion about 20 minutes.
Sprinkle the parsley, cloves and cinnamon over the meat.
Add the tomatoes with their juice.
Boil for ~ 1 hour.

**While cooking the chicken, sprinkle the okra with vinegar and let sit 30 minutes.
RINSE OFF VINEGAR.
Pan fry (or oven bake) potatoes to soften.
Lightly fry okra.
After chicken has cooked, about 20 minutes before eating, add potatoes and okra around the chicken and finish cooking until they are tender.
