1/2 c. cold water
7 tsp. corn starch
1 c. hot water
1 1/4 c. sugar
dash of salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. orange juice
1 tsp. lemon rind
1 tsp. orange rind
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cold water and corn starch. Combine hot water, sugar, and salt and bring to boil. Add corn starch paste and cook until mixture thickens. Stir this thickened mixture small amounts at a time into the beaten egg yolks. Cook a few more minutes and then add fruit juices, butter, and rind. Stir well. Cool and pour into baked shell. Use lemon juice to flavor meringue (made with 4 tbsp. sugar and egg whites).
