1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/3 c. walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 325
Blend butter and shortening using pastry blender, gradually add sugar and water, then vanilla. Add flour by the spoonful, blending between additions. Blend in walnuts.

Roll into 2" wide rolls and chill for 3-4 hours.

When cold, cut into 1/2' slices. Cut each slice in 1/2 and form into crescents. Bake 325º for 15 minutes.

When cool, dip into chocolate then nuts or sprinkles, then dust with confectionary sugar.
