1 recipe Kibbeh Nayeh
1 recipe Labneh
1 large Onion, chopped
1/2 cup Pine Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

In a 9x13 pan, spread Kibbeh Nayeh on bottom about 3/4 inch thick.

Cook onion in oil until transparent.
Add pine nuts and labneh. Salt & pepper to taste.

Spread onion mixture on top of Kibbeh in the pan.
Top with remaining Kibbeh. Be sure to completely cover the filling.
Score top layer with a knife in cross-hatch diamond pattern.

Bake in oven at 350 F for 35 minutes.

Auntie Emily (Emily Smaha) used to make this for Palm Sunday dinner. We preferred the Kibbeh Nayeh or the Kibbeh Balls but devoured this too. It was always a treat to have the Lebanese dishes since we didn't have them at home.
