Derby Rolls Recipe

Your favorite bread dough recipe - like Refrigerator Dinner Rolls
butter
brown sugar
cinnamon
nuts, optional
1/4 C granulated sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C water
Frosting:
1 T butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. hot water
enough powdered sugar to make frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare roll recipe but do not let dough rise.
Roll out and spread lightly with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up for cinnamon rolls and cut into 12 rolls.
Place rolls in a muffin tin that holds 12 muffins or an 8 X 8-inch baking pan.
Bring the white and brown sugar to a boil in water. Remove from heat.
Pour sugar mixture over rolls.
Bake at 350º for APPROXIMATELY 35 minutes.
Frosting:
Combine ingredients for frosting.
