½ C. Butter, unsalted
1 C. Brown Sugar, packed
2 Tbsp Corn Syrup
French bread
5 Eggs
1 ½ C. Half-and-half
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tbsp. Brandy-based or Orange Liqueur
1/4 Tbsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, mix in brown sugar and corn syrup, stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Remove crust from bread, arrange in baking dish. Whisk together eggs, half-and-and, vanilla extract, brandy or orange liqueur, and salt. Pour over bread, cover and chill at least 8 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes.
