1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 squares melted bitter chocolate
1/4 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs and blend thoroughly. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk. Begin and end with flour. Add nuts. Bake in greased shallow pan in moderately hot oven. Frost with chocolate frosting.
