1 lb. trimmed asparagus
2 Tbsp. sesame oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste (optional)
toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat outdoor grill to high. Mix all ingredients (except asparagus and sesame seeds) in a small bowl.
Place asparagus spears in a metal barbecue broil pan.
Brush sauce on asparagus with silicone (or other heat-resistant) brush.
Keep turning asparagus spears until the exterior is slightly brown, and they are fork-tender.
Top with sesame seeds, for serving, if desired.
