1 cup sour milk---
11/2 cps sugar====
1 cp. chopped suet===
31/2 cps flour===
1cp raisins====
1tsp soda===
1tsp sat===
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1tsp cinamon===
1tsp baking pwdr.===
1/2 tsp allspice.

Directions:
Prepare a large pan of water and bring to a boil. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Make a muslin bag appx 12X16 and rinse it in water to make it moist. Turn wet muslin bag inside out and put flour in to coat inside of bag and empty it out. Add the batter in the bowl and leave about 2 inches at top. Tie the bag closed with a string. Place the bag in the boiling water and simmer for 3 hrs. Be sure and keep the bag mostly covered with boiling water. After three hours, empty the bag onto a plate and slice into desired size. Serve with fresh whipped cream.
