I cup (25O mL) lentils
1/2 cup (125 mL) brown rice mixed with wild rice
6 cups (1.5 L) water
I tsp (5 mL) turmeric powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp (15 mL) cumin powder
1 tsp (5 mL) smoked paprika
2 tbsp (30 mL) cooking oil
(5 mL) corianaer powder
1 cup (25O mL) frozen peas

Directions:
Directions:
Put lentils, rice, water, turmerrc powder, salt, pepper, cum powcler, and paprika in a large saucepan and bring to the boil,
Turn the heat to low and cook lentals
until they are done, about 30 to 40 minutes.
In a skillet, add oil and coriander powder and cook on medium- high for 10 seconds. Add the peas and cook for 2 to 4 minutes.
Add tho peas to the cooked lentils before serving.
