4 c. pureed peaches
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 (2 oz.) package powdered sugar pectin
5 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. Amaretto
1/4 tsp. margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, peel pit and puree enough peaches to make 4 cups fruit. Measure sugar into a bowl and set aside. Put peach puree into a 6-8 qt. kettle. Add lemon juice and pectin, stirring well. Bring to boil over high heat. Add sugar and continue stirring until brought to a full boil. Add 1/4 tsp. margarine. Boil 4 minutes then remove from heat. Skim off the foam then stir in the Amaretto. Pour into jars and seal according to package directions.

Makes 8 1/2 pint jars of jam. Note: I used 8-10 small peaches to make 4 cups.
